I want to list my RV. Where do I start?
Whether you’re fresh to the platform or have a fleet ready to roll, here is how you find your way:
-
New Outdoorsy Users or Existing Guest users: If you have just created your Outdoorsy account or are an existing Outdoorsy Guest, but have decided to list your own RV, you can start listing your RV. To get started:
Head home: Navigate to your Outdoorsy Home Page.
Find your Avatar: Click on your Profile Photo (Avatar) or your initials in the top right corner.
Select "Become a Host": Select the "Become a Host" option from the dropdown menu.
Find the "Get started" button: On the "Become a Host" landing page, hit that big "Get started" button.

Begin listing your RV: Click on the "Create a new listing" button. From there, you'll flow right into the listing form pages.
-
Existing Outdoorsy Hosts: If you've already listed your RV but want to list another to keep your earnings rolling, you can certainly do so by following the steps below.
Navigate to your account: Make sure you're logged in to see your current setup.
Find the Listings tab: Locate and click on the "Listings" tab from the top menu.
Expand your fleet: Click on the "Add an RV" button (top right part of the page).
Kick off the new rig: At the bottom of the page, click the "Create a new listing" button. You’re officially back in the flow!
What's the RV Listing Process Like?
Once you’re in the "List your RV" flow, you’ll navigate through a series of tabs to build your rig’s profile. Think of it as dialing in your setup before a big trip—you want everything organized and ready to roll.
The listing process follows a specific order to ensure your rig is fully prepped for the marketplace. You'll move through these eight (8) tabs in the following order:
Vehicle Tab: Enter the technical specs—like make, model, year, and tank sizes—so Guests know exactly what they’re driving.
Amenities Tab: Tick off the creature comforts, from kitchen tools and showers to A/C and solar power, so travelers can find the "must-haves" they’re looking for.
Details Tab: Write your catchy listing name and description, and add those "insider" trip tips and FAQs that make your rig stand out.
Usage Tab: Set the boundaries on driving and delivery permissions, plus your daily mileage and generator allowances.
Pricing Tab: Lock in your nightly rates, set your minimum stay, and dial in your prep fees and security deposits.
Policies Tab: Define your house rules (like smoking or pets), set your cancellation policy, and automate your cleaning turnaround time.
Payment Info Tab: This is where you'll provide your bank account information to connect it for payouts from your account.
Review Tab: Take a final look at all your info for accuracy, check your status, and hit that Publish button to go live!
