First impressions are everything! Your listing's photos are often the deciding factor for a Guest. Whether you’re showcasing high-end amenities, a breathtaking sunset from the campsite, or the sleek silhouette of your RV on the open road, great visuals tell the story of the adventure awaiting your Guests.
How to manage your RV listing photos
Ready to update your gallery? Follow these quick steps to keep your listing fresh:
Go to your Listing: Navigate to the Listings tab from your Host login.
Select Your RV: Click on the specific listing you wish to edit.
Open the Gallery: Click the Photos tab to upload, delete, or reorder your images.
How to upload RV listing photos
Whether your best shots are on your computer or your phone, adding them to your listing is simple:
Direct Upload: Click the Upload button to select and add photos directly from your current device.
Upload from Another Device: Want to move photos from your phone to your desktop listing?
Click the "Upload from another device" link.
Check your registered email for a secure link.
Open that link on your other device to instantly sync your photos to the gallery.
Note: Using the email link is the fastest way to get those high-res mobile shots into your listing without needing to cord-connect or cloud-sync manually.
How to delete RV listing photos
Need to clear out some old shots? Here is how to tidy up your gallery:
Standard Photos: Hover your mouse over the image you want to remove. Click the three dots (⋮) icon that appears and select Delete.
The "Hero" Photo: Your primary listing photo cannot be deleted while it is in the "Hero" slot. To remove or update it:
Drag and drop a different photo into the Hero position to replace it.
Once the old photo is moved to a standard slot, follow the standard deletion steps above.
How to rearrange your RV listing photos
Want to change the story your gallery tells? You can reorder your photos in seconds:
Click & Drag: Simply click on any photo and drag it to its new position.
Intuitive Flow: The gallery will automatically shift other photos to accommodate the new layout based on where you drop the image.
Instant Sync: No need to look for a "Save" button—your new arrangement is saved automatically the moment you let go.
Pro Tip: Group your photos logically. Start with the best exterior shot (your Hero), followed by the main living area, the kitchen, and finally the sleeping quarters. This helps Guests "walk through" the RV in their minds!
What makes a great RV photo gallery?
Your gallery is more than just a collection of pictures—it’s a virtual walkthrough. Here is how to make it irresistible to Guests:
Lead with a "Hero"
Your first photo is your "hook." It should be a high-quality, landscape-oriented image of your RV.
Tell a Story with the Order
Don't make Guests jump back and forth between the bathroom and the engine. Arrange photos in a logical "tour" flow:
Exterior: The Hero shot and various angles of the outside.
The Cockpit/Driving Area: Show that it’s clean and ready for the road.
Main Living Space: Highlight the seating and layout.
Kitchen & Amenities: Close-ups of the stove, fridge, and coffee maker.
Sleeping & Bathroom: Clear shots showing clean linens and a tidy shower.
Delete the Clutter
If a photo doesn’t add value, it’s a distraction.
Remove Duplicates: You don't need five shots of the same microwave. Pick the best one.
Watch the Lighting: Delete any photos that are too dark to see details or so bright they are "blown out."
Clean the Space: Before shooting, tuck away loose wires, close toilet lids, and remove personal clutter.
Keep it Fresh & Seasonal:
An RV adventure looks different in July than it does in October. Updating your gallery shows Guests that you are an active, attentive Host.
Winter: Highlight the furnace, heated tanks, or cozy blankets.
Summer: Show off the awning, outdoor grill, and powerful A/C.
Upgrades: If you get a new TV or a better mattress, make sure the gallery reflects the upgrade immediately!
Pro Tip: Natural light is your best friend. Open all the blinds and turn off the harsh interior lights to avoid that dated "yellow" glow.
For the absolute best results, try to take your exterior photos during "Golden Hour":
When: The first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset.
Why: The sun is lower in the sky, producing a soft, warm, and multidimensional glow that makes your RV look high-end and inviting.
Avoid: Midday sun (12:00 PM – 2:00 PM), which creates harsh shadows and makes white RV exteriors look "blown out" or too reflective.
Can I also upload videos?
While you cannot upload video files directly to the platform, you can easily link a YouTube video to your listing. This is a fantastic way to give Guests a "live" feel of the space and functionality of your RV.
How to Add a YouTube Video
Navigate to your listing's Photos tab.
Scroll down until you see the "Add YouTube Video" section.
Paste your link: Insert your RV's YouTube URL into the input field.
Save: Click the "Add Video" button.
Pro Tip: Adding a video can showcase your RV's functionality and help build Guest trust. For best results, you can keep your video short and sweet! A 1 to 2-minute walkthrough is usually the "sweet spot" for keeping a potential Guest's attention.
Can I upload my previous Guests' photos?
Absolutely! Displaying photos from real trips taken by your Guests is one of the best ways to build trust and authenticity. It shows potential bookers that your RV isn't just a staged photo op—it’s a vessel for real memories.
How to Enable Guest-Submitted Photos
You don’t have to upload these yourself. Once enabled, photos submitted by Guests through their reviews can appear on your listing:
Navigate to your listing's Photos tab.
Scroll down to the "Guest submitted photos" section.
Toggle the switch to "On" to allow these photos to be displayed publicly.
