No worries! Life on the road (or getting to it) is all about flexibility. If your Guest decides they’d rather have the adventure come to them, you can easily update the booking pre-departure.
Both you and your Guest have the power to request a handoff change, but as the Host, you can lead the way to ensure your delivery fees and logistics are dialed in perfectly.
How to initiate a delivery handoff request:
Navigate to your Host Dashboard: Open up the specific booking you’re looking to adjust.
Enter Edit Mode: On the Trip Details tab, click the "Edit" button. This opens up the hood so you can make changes.
Toggle Delivery: Scroll down to the "Handoff" section and toggle on the "Offer delivery" option.

Select the Stay Style: Depending on what you and your Guest agreed on, pick the best fit:
Delivery only: You handle the drop-off, but the Guest still plans on driving or towing the rig to other spots.
Delivery with set-up: The ultimate concierge move. The Guest is staying put in one place, and the Stationary Protection Package will automatically apply.
Pin the Location: Enter the exact delivery address. Our system will auto-populate the location and, most importantly, calculate your delivery fee based on the rates you’ve set in your profile.
Send for Approval: Since this changes the booking total, shoot your Guest a quick message to let them know the request is coming. Once they hit "Approve," the booking and your payout will update automatically.
Pro Tip: Before you hit confirm, double-check that the delivery distance works for your schedule. A quick "Hey, I can definitely get the rig there by 4 PM!" in the messenger keeps the vibes high and the communication clear.
If a Guest has initiated the handoff request:
Sometimes your Guest is one step ahead! They have the option to request delivery directly from their side before the trip kicks off. When they do, it’ll land in your lap for a quick review.
Navigate to your Host Dashboard: Open up the booking and head to the Trip Details tab.

Review the Request: You’ll see a banner notification at the top of the page. This is your "at-a-glance" look at the logistics:
The exact delivery address.
The distance from your RV's home base.
The additional amount the Guest will be paying for the service.
Confirm the Delivery: If the distance and timing work for your schedule, simply hit "Approve". The booking will update instantly, and you're good to go!
Pro Tip: If the requested location is a bit of a trek or the timing is tight, don’t be afraid to message the Guest to coordinate the handoff details before you hit approve. Clear communication makes for a 5-star start!
Everything looking good? Once you approve, the system handles the math and updates the protection plan if needed. Now you can focus on getting the rig camp-ready!
