Referred Guests: You’ll get a $50 discount automatically applied at checkout for your first booking of $200+. Just look for the credit before you hit "Pay"!
Referred RV Hosts: A $50 referral credit is applied to your first booking's Host service fees, resulting in a higher payout on your very first rental.

If you referred a first-time Guest: When your friend books a trip of $200+, a $75 credit will hit your account. You can select it as a payment method on your next booking via the "Pay and book" stage of the checkout process.
If you referred an RV Host: Your $100 credit appears after the new Host's (referred friend's) first Outdoorsy trip successfully departs. It automatically applies to your next Host service fee for a higher payout on your next booking.
Expiry: Use 'em or lose 'em! Referral credits roll out of your account 12 months after they’re issued.
Limit: You can snag up to 5 credit-earning referral rewards every year—plenty of gas money for the next adventure!
How do I find my referral credits?
First things first—let’s see what you’ve got in the tank.
For Guests:
Log in to your Outdoorsy account

Look for the Credits button in the top-right corner of your home screen. If you have credits sitting on your account, it’ll show your current balance right there.
Note: The button will show your total credit balance, including any credits you may have from cancellation refunds.
Click the Credits button to show full credit history, displaying earned and used referral credits

Log in to your Outdoorsy account
On the top-right corner of your Outdoorsy home page, click your Profile photo or initials (if you have not set up a photo yet)
Look for any credit balance displayed
For Hosts:
Log in to your Outdoorsy account
On the top-right corner of your Host Dashboard, click your Profile photo or initials (if you have not set up a photo yet)
Select the Refer a Friend dropdown option
Review your credits under the Refer a Friend page's Travel credit section
How do I use my Referral Credits as a Referred User?
Whether you’re embarking on your first road trip or listing your rig for the first time, your referral rewards are designed to apply automatically once you hit the right milestones. Here is exactly how to ensure those savings show up on your first transaction:

How do I use my Referral Credits as a Referrer?
Whether you're an existing Outdoorsy Host or Guest, you can enjoy your referral credits. Just keep in mind that referral credit amounts vary depending on the type of user you referred (RV Host or Guest).
If you referred a Guest: When your friend books a trip of $200+, a $75 credit will hit your account.
If you referred an RV Host: You'll receive a $100 credit after the new Host's (referred friend's) first Outdoorsy trip successfully departs..
Ready to use your referral credits? There are two ways you can use them:
As a Guest: Once your referral credits are available, just book the RV you're interested in as you normally would. At the "Pay and book" stage of the checkout process, you'll see your available credit under the page's "Add your credit" section. Click on its tick box for your booking payment breakdown to update.
As a Host: No additional actions are needed from you, once you receive your referral credit, it automatically applies to your next Host service fee for a higher payout on your next booking.
Any other Refer Friends credit rules I need to know?
Don't Let 'Em Expire: These credits are good for 12 months from the day they’re issued. Use 'em or lose 'em!
Referral Limits: You can earn credits for up to five (5) successful referrals every year.
Non-transferrable: Credits stay with your account and can't be transferred to someone else.
Cancellations: Heads up—if a referred Guest cancels their trip and doesn't depart, that $75 credit given to the person who referred them will be deducted from the Guest's refund.
How do I keep referring friends?
The best way to keep earning is to share your unique referral links. You actually have two different links—one for future road-trippers (Guests) and one for friends who might want to rent out their own rig (Hosts).
