How do I file a claim?
The road is a wonderful place to be, but every once in a while there are bumps along the way. As hard as we fight against this, there’s always that small chance that vehicle could be damaged during a rental.
File a claim with the Host through their Wheelbase dashboard
If you’ve encountered damage to your rental vehicle valued more than your insurance deductible, or if you are unsure of the value of an insured reservation, please work with the host as they file the claim in their Wheelbase dashboard.
1. Provide the host a statement on what happened. With the statement, include a copy of your insurance, any pictures of the damage, and a copy of any police report, if filed.
2. After the claim is filed, a member of the Mobilitas claims team will reach out to you.
What happens after a claim is filed?
Our claims process will generally unfold in the following way:
● Gathering Information — Mobilitas’ claims team will ask for any other pertinent information to move forward with your claim.
● The Estimate — While Mobilitas’ claims team is gathering information, their appraisal team will prepare an estimate of the cost to repair the damage.
● Confirming Coverage — Your adjuster will review the statements, documents, photos, estimate, and all other necessary information to confirm it’s a covered loss.
● Payment — If a deductible applies, you will be charged.
