Calendar Features: What can I do with the Outdoorsy listing calendar?
RV listing selector
If you’ve got a whole fleet or just a couple of campers, this is your best friend. Look for the dropdown menu at the top left of the calendar view. You can quickly toggle between your different listings to see the specific schedule for each rig without jumping between pages.
How to use the RV listing selector:
Navigate to the left-hand sidebar of the Calendar tab.
Look for the listing dropdown.
Select the specific rig you want to manage to view its individual schedule.
Trip status selector
Want to clear the clutter? Use the checkboxes in the sidebar to filter what you see. You can toggle between Confirmed, Pending, and Unavailable dates. If you have multiple requests for the same dates, they’ll "stack" neatly so you can compare potential Guests and pick the best fit for your schedule.
How to use the Trip status checkboxes:
Navigate to the left-hand sidebar of the Calendar tab.
-
Look for the Trip status section with the following checkboxes:
Pending request
Invited

Select the ones you want to display in your calendar.
Setting calendar availability and nightly rates
Ready to block off time for a tune-up or hike the nightly rate for a holiday weekend? Whether you're prepping for a busy season or taking the rig out for a personal sunset cruise, managing your schedule is a breeze.
Click any date cell or hit the Update availability button.
In the modal that pops up, select your date range.
Look for the availability section in the modal
Choose your status: Available, Unavailable, or No trips start or end (perfect for when you’re mid-trip and can’t do a handoff).
If the dates are available, you can also adjust your Nightly rate right there to stay competitive.
Hit Apply to lock it in.
How to update your dates:
Open the editor: Click directly on any date cell or hit the orange Update availability button.
Select your window: In the "Edit availability" modal that pops up. Clicking on a cell will apply the setting to the date, but you can also use the Date picker to select a date range (start and end dates).
-
Set your status: Look for the Edit availability section and choose one of these options:
Available: Ready for bookings!
Unavailable: This blocks the dates completely—perfect for maintenance or personal use.
No trips start or end: Guests can have the vehicle out on a trip, but you won't be available to do a key exchange or handoff that day.
Leave a "Why" note: If you're marking dates as unavailable, you can add a note (like "Annual engine tune-up") to help you keep track of your rig's schedule.
Lock it in: Hit Apply to save your changes and update your calendar immediately.
Nightly Rate Adjustments
Ready to stay competitive and keep those bookings rolling in? The Nightly Rate Adjustment tool is your go-to for fine-tuning your pricing based on demand, holidays, or local events.
How to Adjust Your Nightly Rate:
Follow these steps to update your pricing for specific dates or high-demand periods:
- Open the Tool: Click on a specific date cell in your calendar or hit the Update Availability button to open the adjustment modal.
- Pick Your Window: If you didn't select a date on the calendar first, use the Date Picker within the modal to set your start and end dates.
- Find the Adjustment Section: Locate the Nightly Rate Adjustment section. This is where you’ll define how the price changes.
- Set Your Price Adjustment: Use the toggles and fields to customize your pricing:
Choose Adjustment Direction: Choose Increase or Decrease.
Select Adjustment Value Type: Select either "$" (flat dollar amount) or "%" (percentage) from the dropdown menu.
Enter Value: Enter the specific number you want to adjust by in the "Adjust by" field.
Pro Tip: Use this to "bump" your rates during high-demand holidays like the Fourth of July or Memorial Day. It’s the best way to ensure you’re maximizing your rig’s earning potential during peak season!
- Lock It In: Click Apply to save your changes immediately.
Booking details modal
Stop digging through your inbox to find trip info. Simply click on any existing reservation in your calendar to open the Booking Details modal.
From this single view, you can:
Confirm Handoff Details: Instantly see if the trip is a Pickup or Delivery. We’ve included the handoff location with a direct link to Google Maps for easy navigation.

Calendar sync section
Keep your rental business and your personal life in sync. Scroll to the bottom of the left sidebar to find your Calendar Sync tools.
Here's how you can import and export calendars:
-
Import: Prevent Double-Bookings
Bring in calendars from external platforms like Airbnb, RVshare, RVezy, Hipcamp, Newbook, Vrbo, Turo, or Hostaway.
How to import:
Click the Add Calendar button.
Paste your external calendar’s iCal link.
Give the imported calendar a Name (e.g., "Airbnb - Forest Rover") so you know the source.
-
Export: View Bookings Anywhere
Grab your Outdoorsy iCal link to see your bookings on your personal Google or Apple calendar.
To export your calendar, choose one:
Copy URL: Best for live syncing. Paste this link into your personal calendar app so it updates automatically when you get a new booking.
Download: Best for a one-time backup. This downloads a static file of your current bookings.
Turnaround time
Everyone needs a breather. If you’ve set a Turnaround Time in your listing’s Policies tab, it will automatically appear on your calendar as a shaded block immediately following a reservation.
Visual Reminder: This shaded area acts as a buffer, ensuring you have the 1–2 days you need to get your rig sparkling clean and road-ready for the next adventurer.
Automatic Protection: These dates are automatically blocked from new booking requests, so you never have to worry about a "back-to-back" flip that’s too tight to manage.
Pro Tip: To learn more about setting turnaround times and other listing policies you can set, visit the How to Manage Listing Policies Help Center article.
